It's kinda hard to explain and it gets covered in great detail in the first two games. But basically Ys is an ancient land that once was part of the world, but is now basically a floating island.
Music. The first two games were composed by Yuzo Koshiro, Mieko Ishikawa, and Hideya Nagata, whereas Mieko Ishikawa handled the soundtrack for Ys III.
Patrick is the main antagonist of the Supernatural episode "The Curious Case of Dean Winchester". He is a 900-year-old Irish witch that gained immortality by gambling with the years of humans. He was portrayed by Hal Ozsan.
