Taskforce 141 is the name of a multinational special forces group under the command of Lt. Gen. Shepherd. It's recruits come from multiple special forces units around the world including the S.A.S, 75th Ranger Regiment and Canadian Special Operations Regiment.
Task Force 141 is not a real unit per say but is based off of one. TF 121. TF 121s primary mission was the capture of High Value Human Targets such as key Taliban leaders, former Ba'ath party officials and other wanted individuals such as Saddam Hussein and his two sons Udai and Qusai.
Founded as WGPR-TV in 1975 by Dr. William V. Banks and the International Free and Accepted Modern Masons as an extension of WGPR (107.5 FM), channel 62 in Detroit was the first Black-owned television station in the continental United States.
On Sept. 29, 1975, Detroit television station WGPR-TV 62 signed on air for the first time. That came after the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) unanimously voted in 1973 to grant a permit by African Americans to operate a television station in Detroit.
